The USD men's tennis team, off to a 4-0 start and national ranking of No. 28, will host the 19th-ranked USC Trojans this coming Friday in a 1:30 p.m. match at the USD West Tennis Courts. San Diego opened the season with two road wins over #32 Florida State and #16 Tulane, then returned home this past weekend to earn back-to-back 7-0 wins over San Francisco and LMU in the WCC Challenge. The USC Trojans come to town 2-1 after recently dropping a 4-3 decision to No. 6 UCLA. They own wins over Cal Poly (6-1) and Fresno State (2-1).
"We are looking forward to the challenge of playing an elite team like USC," said 8th year Torero coach Tom Hagedorn. "It is a great test for us to see where we are as a team. We also hope everyone can make it out to the USD West Tennis Courts this Friday at 1:30 p.m. to support the men's tennis program."
