(San Diego, CA) - The University of San Diego women's tennis team improved to 2-3 with today's 6-1 victory over the visiting Valparaiso Crusaders (1-4). USD swept all three doubles matches, then won five of six singles matches for the victory. Sophomore Lauren Perl (Torrey Pines HS) won at No. 1 singles over Mona Sonkin (6-1, 6-1), and teamed with Lauren Kazarian to win at No. 1 doubles to lead the way. The Toreros will host Boston College this coming Tuesday, March 2nd, at 1:30 p.m. at the USD West Tennis Courts.
