Junior running back Jon Polk (Compton, Calif.) was honored by the PFL office as this week's PFL Offensive Player of the Week. Polk tied the school record for rushing touchdowns in a game with 4 scores in the team's 42-35 victory over Marist. He finished the game with 17 carries for 69 yards with TD runs of 5 yards (2nd quarter), 1 yard (3rd quarter), 2 yards (4th quarter) and 1 yard (4th quarter). With halfbacks JT Rogan and Kevin Herron out with injuries, Polk moved over to halfback from his normal role as key blocker. Polk entered the game with 3 career rushing TDs.
