(San Diego, CA) The Toreros men's soccer team will host 7th ranked UCLA on Thursday night in their final home match of the season.
The Bruins clinched the Pac-10 championship over the weekend and are 6-1-2 in the conference and 11-3-3 overall. UCLA has won or tied their last seven matches. This is the 24th meeting between the two teams and UCLA defeated USD 4-0 last season.
The Toreros are in a three-way tie with San Francisco and St. Mary's for third place in the West Coast Conference standings. USD is 8-5-5 overall and 4-4-3 in conference action. They tied 1-1 against 5th ranked Santa Clara and 0-0 against San Francisco over the weekend.
Jan Prochazka, Tommy Von Bromsen, Scott Martin, and Calle Rendahl will participate in the final home match of their careers with USD. Prior to the match the team will honor the four graduating seniors who dedicated a combined 13 years to the Toreros soccer program.
The match is scheduled for 7:00 pm at Torero Stadium. The senior ceremony will begin shortly before the start of the match.
