(Fresno, CA) - USD freshman Dean Jackson, seeded No. 3 in Flight 1 singles, advanced to the championship match after winning two matches on Saturday. In today's final he beat Washington's Patrick Fischer (6-4, 6-3). In the quarterfinals he bested Kallim Stewart of Cal (6-4, 7-5), then returned to beat Andy Kuharszky of Washington (6-1, 6-3) in the semifinals. USD's Tamber Antabi reached the Flight 2 quarterfinals before falling to Fresno State's Siddharth Alapati (6-3, 6-0). In the Flight 1 consolation bracket, Charl Wolmarans reached the semifinals after beating Cal Poly's Drew Jacobs in the quarters (6-4, 6-3).
