(San Diego, CA) - The USD men's basketball team, under the direction of first-year head coach Bill Grier, will play their second and final exhibition contest this coming Sunday. The Toreros will take on Occidental College in a 2:00 p.m. contest at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Reserved tickets are $5 each, while all USD students and faculty/staff get in free with proper ID. The Toreros are coming off a 75-61 exhibition win over Point Loma this past Wednesday which saw four Toreros reach double digit scoring. Junior guard Brandon Johnson lead the way with 16 points. The Toreros open their season at Hawaii on Nov. 9th, then return for a three-game homestand against Cal State Monterey Bay (Nov. 12, 7 pm), UNLV (Nov. 17, 6 pm) and San Diego State (Nov. 19, 7 pm).
