Julian Ringhof Named to NSCAA Scholar All-American Team

NSCAA Scholar All-American Team

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Senior defender Julian Ringhof was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-American Second Team. The mechanical engineering major, sports a 3.95 GPA and was recently named the WCC's Defensive Player of the Year.



Ringhof was already selected to the Capital One Academic All-American Third Team, making him the first Torero to earn an Academic All-American honor since Tyler Conley did in 2002. Ringhof was the only player from the WCC to be honored by the NSCAA.



Ringhof was been named to the WCC All-Academic Team and the Capital One Academic All-District Team in each of the past two seasons, while also being named to the All-WCC First Team. He recently helped lead the Toreros to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after USD won their second WCC championship in the past three years. Ringhof will graduate later this month and then will begin working for San Diego's Solar Turbines.
