SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USD Football team will hold its annual Spring Game on Saturday, March 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Torero Stadium.

The team held their first of 14 practices last Saturday; they will wrap up March 6.

Preceding the spring game there will be an alumni scrimmage beginning at 9:30 a.m. Participants should check-in at 9:00 a.m. Food and drinks are available for $15.

Following the game, fans are encouraged to come cheer on the USD basketball team who play BYU at 1:00 p.m. in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The football team has also announced they will host the tenth annual Torero Football Golf Classic on Saturday April 12 at the Bernardo Heights Country Club.

Registration will begin at noon followed by lunch. The program's main fundraiser will begin with a shotgun scramble format beginning at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception, dinner, and auction at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Cost is $175 for young alumni (classes 2009-2013), $250 per person, or $1,000 for a foursome. Non-golfers are encouraged to attend the post-tournament dinner and auction.
