May 7, 2015 (San Diego, Calif.) - Senior wide receiver Reggie Bell (Union City, Calif.) recently signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Washington Redskins. Bell turned in an outstanding career with the Toreros as he leaves the program with 172 career receptions for 2,729 yards and 24 touchdowns. His career receiving yards rank No. 4 all-time, while his receptions and touchdowns are No. 7 all-time.
This past season for the 9-3 Toreros Bell hauled in 40 receptions for 779 yards (19.5 average) and 7 touchdowns. Additionally he chipped in with 24 punt returns for 184 yards (7.7 average) on his way to earning All-Pioneer Football League second team honors.
During his junior campaign in 2013 he totaled 65 receptions for 1,050 yards (16.2 average) and 9 touchdowns. He was named All-PFL first team and USD's Offensive Most Valuable Player.
