2015 Torero Recruiting Map

San Diego, Calif. - USD head football coach Dale Lindsey and his coaching staff are pleased to announce their 2015 recruiting class. The 30 incoming freshman recruits will join up with the rest of the Torero returners when the team reports for camp on August 11th. Three of the recruits are from San Diego County, and a total of nineteen student-athletes hail from the state of California. Rounding out the freshman class are recruits from the states of Arizona (4), Colorado (2), Illinois (1), Iowa (1), Ohio (1) and Washington (1). By position the incoming class includes seven offensive linemen, five defensive linemen, four corner backs, four linebackers, four wide receivers, two safeties, two running backs, one tight end and one quarterback.

The team's first practice for camp is slated for Wednesday, August 12th. USD's season opener is September 5th against San Diego State at Qualcomm Stadium (time TBD). This past season the Toreros finished 9-3 overall, won the Pioneer Football League title and advanced to the FCS Playoffs for the first time in program history.
