SAN DIEGO â€" Senior forward, Sydney Williams, has been named the Torero Student Athlete of the Week for Dec. 11-17. Williams scored a career-high 25 points against Minnesota (9-2) on Sunday afternoon, leading the Toreros to a huge victory. Williams now averages 12.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the 2017-18 season.

Sydney looks to continue her success this weekend as the Toreros host University of Texas at San Antonio on Saturday evening.
