SAN DIEGO - San Diego is excited to introduce new game day elements for football games at Torero Stadium during the 2017 season.

Game day enhancements include ticket promotions, concessions, game presentation, parking and traffic, and in-venue entertainment.

Below are some of the new features available on game day.

New at Torero Stadium

• Incoming freshmen and parents of the Class of 2021 can redeem vouchers for free tickets to the home opener against Western New Mexico.
• Free parking for every regular season football home game.
• Fans can register in advance for the pregame tailgate before each home game in the Vista parking lot.
• A football coach will deliver a pregame scouting report to those attending the pregame tailgate. Head coach Dale Lindsey will be speaking before the home-opener against Western New Mexico.
• Pregame hype video prior to the team taking the field.
• The Bull Pit will have a new home behind the east end zone.
• There will be an in-stadium DJ playing music.
• The cheer and dance teams will be located behind each end zone.
• The San Diego logo will be painted at midfield for every game this season.
• Concessions will open 90 minutes before kickoff.
• Concessions will be grilling on a brand new industrial-sized barbecue beginning the second home game of the season on Sept. 23 against Butler.
• A sampling of new concession items this season include, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, an Egyptian food stand, chili cheese fries and kettle corn.
• The Torero Tu Go food truck will be located on Eagen Plaza. It will feature a special burger menu for the first game of the season.
• The featured concession item for the Western New Mexico game will be a glazed donut bacon burger.
• Classic concession items will be available inside the Jenny Craig Pavilion (hot dogs, garlic fries, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, nachos, churros and beverages).
• Military personnel can receive one complimentary ticket (general admission) when they show a military ID at the Jenny Craig Pavilion ticket office on game day.
• In-venue entertainment in Eagen Plaza, including a bounce house, corn hole, Spike Ball, food vendors and the Torero Store.

• Parking is free for all regular season home football games.
• Fans are encouraged to park in the Mission Parking Structure.
• Two trams will be available to transport fans from the Vista Parking lot to the Torero Stadium and Jenny Craig Pavilion entrances on Saturday from 12:30-10:30 p.m.
• Tickets for Saturday's football game are available in advance via USDToreros.com or on game day at the Jenny Craig Pavilion ticket office.
• Will call for football games is located at the front gate of Torero Stadium facing Jenny Craig Pavilion.
