SAN DIEGO - The University of San Diego men's tennis team swept the West Coast Conference (WCC) weekly awards, the league announced Tuesday. Freshman Oliver Tarvet earned Singles Player of the Week, while Marvin Schaber/Stian Klaassen were named Doubles Team of the Week.

Tarvet went 2-0 at No. 3 singles this week, including wins over #23 Texas A&M and San Francisco. On Wednesday's opener against the Aggies, he earned a crucial comeback 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 win to help the Toreros to a 4-3 win. In the sweep over the Dons on Sunday, he dominated, 6-0, 6-0.

Schaber and Klaassen went 1-0 this week, including a 6-2 win against Texas A&M at No. 3 doubles.
