Women’s Soccer Adds Olivia Stone as Graduate Transfer

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's soccer program has added another transfer to the 2023 team, welcoming Olivia Stone as a graduate student.

A native of Austin, Texas, Stone joins the program after a season at Vanderbilt. Prior to her time as a Commodore, Stone played three seasons at Northwestern.

Stone has appeared in 52 games over her career and over 2,500 minutes, scoring three goals and six assists in a versatile offensive role. All three of her career goals were game winning goals, headlined by an overtime winner against Michigan State while at Northwestern on Mar. 25, 2021.

Her three game-winning goals are also tied for a Northwestern record in game-winners in Big Ten play. Stone is also a three Academic All-Big Ten honoree during her time as a Wildcat.

Stone becomes the 12th newcomer on the Toreros roster and the fourth transfer, joining Sam Gerhart (High Point), Lauren Tanner (Arkansas) and Lexi Zandonella-Arasa (Sonoma State).
