SAN DIEGO — Winners of 11 straight matches and the recipient of a league-leading 13 West Coast Conference weekly awards in 2025, San Diego volleyball (18-4, 11-0 WCC) returns home this weekend to host Saint Mary's (8-14, 6-5 WCC) at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The first-place Toreros will take on the Gaels at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in a matchup that will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Braden Surprenant on the call. Live statistics will be available on USDToreros.com and StatBroadcast.

ELEVEN WINS IN A ROW
• San Diego's current win streak dates back to September 25, 2025, spanning 49 days and nine different opponents, all within West Coast Conference play.

• Washington State (October 16 and October 25) and Loyola Marymount (September 27 and November 1) are the only teams that the Toreros have beaten twice during the streak.

• It's USD's longest win streak since 2022, when the Toreros set a program record with 28 consecutive victories en-route to the NCAA National Semifinal, which marked the longest win streak in the country that year.

LAST TIME OUT: SAN DIEGO STAYS UNDEFEATED IN WCC PLAY WITH SWEEP AT LMU
• The Toreros dispatched Loyola Marymount in straight sets last Saturday (November 1), beating the Lions 25-15, 25-15, and 25-20 to earn their first victory at the Gersten Pavilion since 2022.

STILL PERFECT
• USD (11-0) remains the only team still undefeated in WCC play. Pepperdine sits in second place with a 10–2 conference record, followed by Oregon State, which has a 9-3 mark in league play.

MUNDAY AND DURGAN EARN WCC WEEKLY HONORS
• Setter Kylie Munday and middle blocker Ava Durgan were named the WCC Setter and Freshman of the Week for November 3, 2025, the West Coast Conference announced on Monday afternoon.

• The accolades marked the Toreros' conference-leading 12th and 13th weekly accolades of 2025.

Munday totaled 62 assists (10.33 A/S), 17 digs, 11 kills, six service aces and five blocks (one solo) as USD swept both San Francisco and LMU last weekend.

• She amassed 28 assists, nine digs, four blocks (one solo), four kills and two service aces against the Dons before racking up 34 assists, eight digs, seven kills, four service aces and a block last Saturday at LMU.

• Her efforts helped USD hit .351 across its matches versus USF and LMU.

• Monday's recognition marks the third time this season that Munday has claimed conference setter of the week.

Durgan compiled 18 kills (3.00 K/S) while hitting .517, two digs, and a block as USD swept both San Francisco and LMU last weekend.

• She tallied three kills (.400), two digs and a block against the Dons before setting a career-high (and game high) with 13 kills (4.33 K/S) while swinging at a .579 clip last Saturday at LMU.

• Monday's accolade marks the third time this season that Durgan has won conference freshman of the week.

BIG NUMBERS FROM BEACH
• Junior outside hitter Nemo Beach leads the WCC and ranks 27th nationally with 370 total kills in 2025. Her average of 4.11 kills per set ranks first in the WCC and 45th nationally.

• Beach continued to pace the San Diego offense last week, totaling 25 kills (.328, 4.17 K/S), three service aces, and three assists as USD swept both San Francisco and Loyola Marymount.

• She had 14 kills (4.67 K/S) while hitting .344 alongside an assist and a service ace last Thursday (October 30) night against the Dons, then added 11 more kills (3.67 K/S) while hitting .313, two assists, and two service aces last Saturday afternoon (November 1) at LMU.

MUNDAY SETS THE STANDARD

She is also second in the WCC and 36th nationally with an average of 10.06 assists per set.

LEADING THE WAY
• San Diego players are among the West Coast Conference's leaders in multiple statistical categories entering Saturday afternoon's action.

• Nemo Beach leads the league with 370 total kills and 4.11 kills per set, and is followed by teammate Isabel Clark, who ranks fourth in the WCC with 296 kills of her own.

• Olivia Bennett has recorded a conference-high 343 digs and 3.81 digs per set so far in 2025.

ENGEMAN STAYS STRONG
• Graduate middle blocker Kali Engeman helped San Diego extend its win streak to 11 last week, totaling nine blocks and three digs as the Toreros swept San Francisco and Loyola Marymount.

• She had six blocks and a dig last Thursday night (October 30) at the Jenny Craig Pavilion, then added three more blocks and two digs last Saturday (November 1) at the Gersten Pavilion.

BENNETT IMPRESSES
• Senior libero Olivia Bennett played a key role in San Diego's undefeated weekend last week, totaling 30 digs (5.00 D/S) as the Toreros beat San Francisco and Loyola Marymount in straight sets.

• Bennett had 17 digs (5.67 D/S) last Thursday night (October 30) against the Dons, then added 13 more (4.33 A/S) on Saturday afternoon (November 1) at LMU.

DOMINANT DEFENSE
• As a team, USD leads the WCC in digs (1,223) and ranks second in total blocks (220.5), and opponent hitting percentage (.180).

EXPLOSIVE OFFENSE
• San Diego leads the WCC with a .264 hitting percentage and 1,490.5 total points in 2025.

• USD's 1,147 kills and 1,076 assists this season both rank second in the league.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SAINT MARY'S
• The Toreros lead the all-time series, 63-14, and are 32-6 against the Gaels all-time at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

• USD has won each of its last 13 matchups with SMC dating back to 2019, a streak that has included 10 San Diego sweeps.

• San Diego hasn't dropped a set to Saint Mary's since November 18, 2021 (seven straight sweeps since then), and hasn't lost a match to the Gaels since November 17, 2018 (when USD fell 3-0 on the road).

• The Toreros' last loss to SMC at the JCP was on September 20, 2018, when it fell to the Gaels in five sets.

GOING THE DISTANCE
• San Diego has played five sets on nine different occasions this season, and is 7-2 in such matches.

• Approximately 40 percent (9 of 22) of USD's matches so far in 2025 (entering Saturday) have gone five sets.

• However, only two WCC opponents have taken the Toreros to five this season: Loyola Marymount on September 27 and Washington State on October 25. Both matches saw the Toreros overcome 2-0 deficits at the JCP.
