SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Championships in baseball, men's soccer, and men's tennis helped propel University of San Diego Athletics to a second consecutive WCC Men's All-Sports Award, the West Coast Conference announced on Wednesday morning.
The Toreros secured the 2024-2025 honor by finishing with 37.20 total points, placing them first out of nine WCC member institutions. USD bested second-place Saint Mary's (36.00) by 1.20 points to win the award for the fifth time in department history.
The three conference titles that aided in San Diego's 2024-2025 WCC Men's All-Sports Award recognition were the latest in a string of success for those programs. Torero baseball won its fourth WCC Championship in the last four seasons, men's soccer earned its third straight WCC Championship, and men's tennis capped a historic season by placing first in the conference standings for a fourth consecutive year before winning the WCC Tournament in back-to-back seasons.
