2005: Played in two games as a pinch-hitter, first at Hawaii-Hilo (1-28-05) and later in the season vs. San Diego State (3-12-05).

2004: Utilized a redshirt year as a true freshman.

Prep: Played at Laguna Beach High School... Named team MVP and was the school[apos]s Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior... 1st team All-Pacific Coast League player, hitting .404 and stealing 18 bases his senior year... As a junior, was named a 2nd team All-PCL performer and the Breaker[apos]s Most Valuable Pitcher... During his sophomore season, Beck was Laguna[apos]s Most Valuable Defensive Player... Coached by Mike Schubert at Laguna and also played for the Orange County Yard Dogs club team.

Personal: Business Administration major at USD... Chose to attend USD for the strong academic programs... Born on July 24, 1985... Son of Bob and Sue Beck.
