USD: Fourth year Torero will compete with the Toreros tight ends... Last season played in four contests with one start (Cal Poly)... Appeared in three contests in 2011... Sat out the 2009 & 2010 campaigns. HIGH SCHOOL: Competed at Hicksville HS where he played for coach Craig Stueber... Senior year named All-County and an Academic All-Conference recipient... Hauled in 30 receptions with 8 TDs; also tallied 4 interceptions and kicked 2 field goals... Junior year totaled 5 interceptions... Also lettered in volleyball 4 years and soccer 3 years... In volleyball his senior year was MVP and All-County.

PERSONAL: Born on February 4, 1991 in New York... Parents are Ann and Andrew McKiel of Levittown, New York... Chose USD for beautiful campus, the kind people and to receive a great education... Participant in volunteer/community service acts - food drives, JDRF fundraising, and the Michael Magro Foundation.
