High School: Attended Oxnard HS... Three-year letterman in football for the Yellow Jackets... Three-time All-Pacific View League member... Recorded back-to-back 100+ tackle seasons during his junior and senior seasons, while being named in both years PVL Defensive MVP and to the All-Ventura County team... Team went 10-1 during his senior season, capturing a PVL championship for the second consecutive season... Also lettered in track and field for two years.

Personal: Born on July 1, 1991 in Oxnard, CA... Mother is Karen Jones of Oxnard, CA... Chose USD because of its academics and football, as well as the weather in the surrounding area... Also recruited by New Mexico, UC-Davis, and Dartmouth College... Plays the piano... Member of Young Athletes for Christ... Plans to use lessons learned at USD to help the community.
