Selected All-PFL honorable mention... In 2013 appeared in all 11 games with 8 starts... Saw action in seven games in 2012. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Brien McMahon High School where he was a three-year varsity letterman in football and wrestling...Played football under Head Coach Joe Santalucia...Senior year received Lineman of the Year and Scholar Athlete Awards, as well as All-State and All-League Honors...Junior and Sophomore year named Lineman of the Year...While involved in wrestling, he was the 2010 State and League Champion, made the All-State All-Star team and earned All-State & All-League Honors. PERSONAL: Born October 29, 1992, in Norwalk, CT...Parents are Jeff and Orlyna Starr...Chose to attend USD for beautiful location, great academics and athletics...Also recruited by Stony Brook University, Central Connecticut State University, Boston College, UCONN, University of Maine and University of Albany...In his free time, enjoys playing the trumpet, listening to music and drawing...After USD career, plans on pursuing a successful career path.
