USD: Fourth-year Torero moves to the defensive side of the ball where he will compete with the defensive line unit... Last season appeared in 10 contests with 4 starts at full back... In 2011 competed in 9 contests... Tallied 3 carries for 12 yards with a long gain of 8 yards... Sat out the 2010 campaign... Appeared in all 11 games for the 2009 season, recording four receptions for 21 yards and scored one touchdown, grabbing a two-yard touchdown at Southern Utah.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Long Beach Polytechnic HS... Played three years of varsity football under coach Raul Lara... Earned a coaches award for having 3.0+ GPA three straight years... During senior year, team went 14-1, becoming CIF Champs and state runner-ups.
