High School: Attended Orange Lutheran High School where he was a four-year varsity letterman in football and track...Senior year earned All-League Honors after recording 82 tackles, two interceptions and four pass break ups...Junior year received All-League Honors with 73 tackles and one interception...Sophomore year tallied 10 tackles...While involved in track, finished second in the 100 meter in the Trinity League and also was a CIF Finalist in the 4x100 meter relay.

Personal: Born on October 16, 1992, in Orange, CA...Parents are Bill and Lee Ann Gonzales...Chose to attend USD for beautiful location, great education and athletic programs...Also recruited by UCLA, Cal Poly, UC Davis and Stony Brook University...Outside of football, enjoys snowboarding and going to the beach...Uncle played and coached at UCLA...After earning USD degree, hopes to get a good job.
