NOTEWORTHY: Was a redshirt last season after transferring from West Valley Junior College.

COLLEGE: Played one season at West Valley where his playing time was limited due to illness... Team finished the year with 17 wins and a trip to the NorCal playoffs where they were beat by eventual state tourney participant, Diablo Valley.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Westmont High School (coach Bill Gerth) where in his senior year he averaged 15.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg while earning First Team All-BVAL honors and team MVP award... Started at point guard all three years and helped lead team to CCS playoffs each year... First Team All-League junior year after averaging 13.0 ppg and 6.0 rpg.

PERSONAL: Born on September 9, 1983 in San Jose, CA... Chose USD for strong academics, great campus and city... His father, Tim, played basketball at Cal State Fullerton.
