Patrick Frost

Patrick Frost is in his second year as the Video Coordinator with the San Diego Men’s Basketball Program. He is involved with coordinating all video & film exchange, compiling team video playbooks, and helping with opponent scouting report information. He also organized and ran Team Camp.

Prior to USD, Frost spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Whitworth University, in which the Pirates complied a record of 74-12, winning three Northwest Conference Championships, and advancing to three NCAA Tournaments. He also coached three All-Americans while at Whitworth, along with numerous All-League players. In 2016, Whitworth finished 26-2, and spent four weeks ranked as the #1 team in the country.

Frost’s coaching duties included recruiting, assisting with offensive strategy, putting together scouting reports for upcoming opponents, planning guard/wing positional breakdowns during practice, running individual workouts, and assisted in planning and organizing offseason camps and clinics.

Prior to Whitworth, Frost spent five seasons coaching AAU basketball with Emerald City Basketball Academy. While with Emerald City, Frost coached numerous players who played or are currently playing college basketball at the Division I level.

Frost earned a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Washington University, and is currently working towards his Master’s in Leadership Studies from USD.
