FRESHMAN (2021)
- Competed in four races for the Toreros in the 1V8+
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Attended Summit Sierra High School in Seattle, Washington
- Was a member of the National Honor Society and made the Dean’s List four times
CLUB:
- Competed with Mount Baker Rowing from 2015-2020
- Placed third at Club Nationals with the United States High-Performance Rowing Team in 2018
- Was selected to row for the Olympic Development Program in 2019
PERSONAL:
- Born to Matt and Katy Hestad
- Has one sister, Bridget
- Enjoys cooking, biking, and listening to music in his free time
- Chose USD for the location and the high-level rowing program
