Carlos Bracho

Carlos Bracho joined the USD men's tennis staff in August of 2021. He comes to USD from the famed John McEnroe Tennis Academy in New York, N.Y. where he worked as one of the Directors of the program from 2018-2021.

Prior to the John Mcenroe Tennis Academy, he worked as Director of Junior Programs at the 4-star Tennis Academy and Jack Schore Tennis Academy in Mclean, Va. from 2011-2017.

Bracho spent four seasons as an assistant tennis coach for the men's and women’s teams at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. from 2007-2011.  

Bracho began his coaching career as a tennis professional at the Van der Meer Tennis Academy from 2004 to 2007, working with top-ranked juniors. In addition, he worked as a hitting partner for WTA player Ai Sugiyama in 2004 when she achieved her highest ranking of eight in the world.

Bracho is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, where he was a former top-five junior in singles and doubles.
