FRESHMAN (2015): Had one of the best freshman seasons for a USD pitcher in program history... Made 38 appearances with 29 starts, going 21-11 with a 2.29 ERA... Struck out 136 batters in 199.0 innings... Named to the All-WCC Second Team... Earned WCC Pitcher of the Week honors four times... Named San Diego Hall of Champions Star of the Month for March... Had 18 complete games with four shutouts and helped with two other shutouts... Held opposing batters to a .270 average... At the plate, hit .222 with one home run, two triples, one double, and four RBI... Had conseuctive complete games where she allowed just one earned run against Kent State and Southern Utah (2/14-2/15/15)... Had complete game shutout against Bryant (3/11/5)... Had a season high 10 strikeouts while allowing one run against Utah Valley (3/14/15)... Allowed just two hits in ten innings of shutout ball against Harvard (3/21/15)... Had complete game shutout, giving up just three hits against Pacific (4/3/15)... Helped USD post a WCC-best 2.75 team ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Yorba Linda High School where she was a four year letterwinner for Coach Sharon Farrell... In her senior year she received the following honors/awards: First Team All-CIF, First Team All-County, First Team All-League, Second Team All-State, and Team MVP... In her senior year she was third in Orange County in strikeouts (255 K's in 141 innings pitched) and hit .360 with four home runs while helping her team qualify for CIF... In her junior year she was named Empire League MVP, First Team All-State, First Team All-CIF, First Team All-County, First Team All-League, and Team MVP... In her junior year she went 24-4 with a 0.96 ERA, striking out 220 batters in 168 innings and helped her team to the CIF Division I semi-finals... In her sophomore year she was Empire League MVP and Team MVP... Was named team Rookie of the Year after her freshman season... Was a scholar athlete all four years.

PERSONAL: Born September 13, 1996 in Fullerton Calif. to Janet and Blake von Sprecken... Chose USD for the campus environment and location... Was also recruited by Boston College, Colorado State, and UC Santa Barbara... Played club ball for the OC Batbusters and helped them win the U18 Premier Platinum Championship... Notes she enjoys being outdoors and crossfitting.
