Played in nine games...averages just under two minutes per game...scored a career-high two points against UC Irvine (1/02/06).

HIGH SCHOOL
Enjoyed an outstanding prep career at Punahou School in Honolulu... All-State performer as a junior, helping the Buff and Blue win one of three consecutive Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) Championship titles (2003, 2004 & 2005)... Starting forward on Punahou[apos]s 26-0 2003 State Championship team... Won a pair state championship titles (2003 & 2005) with the Buff and Blue, earning Hawaii[apos]s Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005... Punahou finished third at the state tournament in 2004... Received All-ILH honors in three straight seasons... Also played for the Kalakaua Club team, coached by Dennis Agena... Helped Kalakaua win an `And 1[apos] tournament championship in Las Vegas, where she was voted an all-tournament player.

Born Christine Takara (TALK-CAR-a) on March 21, 1987 in Honolulu as the daughter of John and Liane Takara... Chose to attend USD for the strong academics, the location, and the basketball program... Her community service experience includes working with HUGS (respite care for children), while also spending two years volunteering with her church nursery.
