HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity basketball at Cy-Fair High School...as a senior, she averaged 9.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.1 steals-per-game and 1.1 apg en route to a first-team All-District honor...as a junior, she averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.0 steals-per-game...she helped lead the team to three consecutive appearances at the Texas 5A state tournament, has helped her team post a 32-game winning streak and helped the team post an overall record of 168-15 in four seasons...she also helped the team achieve a national ranking of sixth in her junior season, as well as being the state[apos]s No. 1-ranked team...she also helped lead the team to state championships as a sophomore and junior. PERSONAL: Tara Nicole Warren was born on January 27, 1993 in Berkeley, Calif....she is the daughter of Allen & Bennette Warren...was also recruited by Texas Chritian University, University of Alabama Birmingham, Mcneese State, Stephen F. Austin, Oregon State, and Rice...chose to attend USD because of the location, the academic reputation of USD, and because of the players and coaches on the team.
