  • Title
Women's Soccer Assistant Coach (San Diego, 2012)
Former Torero All-American Elisa Magracia begins her third season on head coach Ada Greenwood's staff in the 2015 season. In only her second season on staff, Magracia helped lead USD back to the NCAA Tournament after the team posted a 10-8-2 overall record and a fourth place finish in the WCC standings. In fact, USD was one of three teams from the WCC to earn a bid into the NCAA Tournament, which did not include the second place finisher. USD also had impressive wins over No. 10 Michigan (5-0) and No 7 Pepperdine (2-1), which helped boost the USD RPI high enough to earn an at large bid to the postseason. USD also had six players take home All-WCC honors this season. Magracia, a 2012 graduate of USD, was a four-year starter for the Toreros and helped lead USD to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. Magracia was a key member of the 2011 Torero team that put together the memorable season in program history, as USD won a share of its first-ever WCC Championship, and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. Magracia was a three-time All-WCC selection, a freshman All-American and she earned NSCAA All-West Region honors as a senior. Last season, Magracia served as an undergraduate assistant coach for the Toreros, as she finished up her degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
