HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at Sit Francis Drake High School...was a top scorer in her league for her final three years...as a senior, helped lead her team to a third place finish, and she was named her team's MVP...as a junior, was named second-team All-MCAL, while also being named her team's MVP and best offensive player...as a sophomore, she was named second-team All-League...played varsity soccer as a freshman...played club soccer for Marin FC...helped lead her team to the 2013/14 NorCal National Premier League Championship...helped lead her team to a pair of state championships in 2014 and 2015...in 2014 helped lead her team to the USYS Regional Championship appearance. PERSONAL: Kendal Clare was born on June 2, 1997 in San Francisco, Calif....she is the daughter of Anna Clare and Andrew Clare...was also recruited by Chapman, Oberlin and Emerson...chose to attend USD because of the academic reputation, the outstanding women's soccer program and the beautiful campus...her father Andrew played soccer at the University of Bath, England...notes she loves to travel and experience different cultures, but snakes really freak her out.
