HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in soccer while playing at West Anchorage High School...was a four-time first-team All-Cook Inlet Conference honoree as a forward...was a four-time offensive MVP of the CIC...averaged 20 goals per year in her four-year career...was a member of the eight-time state champion Alaska Rush club team and was a Region IV ODP team member...also played tennis and ran track and field at WAHS. PERSONAL: Maggie Rose McGuire was born on August 7, 1989...she is the daughter of Nancy and Thomas McGuire...was heavily recruited by UNLV, Saint Mary[apos]s, Pacific, Maryland and Kentucky...chose to attend USD because of the warm weather, outstanding women[apos]s soccer program and the outstanding academic reputation...her father, Thomas, played football at Northern Colorado.
