HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at Dana Hills High School...was a four-year letter winner in soccer, while also lettering in track and field...helped lead her team to three consecutive league championships...was named team captain as a senior, while leading the team in goals scored...as a junior, she was selected second-team All-League...played club soccer for the West Coast FC...helped lead her team to the Cal South National championship, and her team was an ECNL National Finalist. PERSONAL: Megan Marie Matchett was born on Feb. 1, 1996 in Laguna Hills, Calif....she is the daughter of Phil and Sharon Matchett...chose to attend USD because of the beautiful campus, the academic reputation and the strong soccer program...her father, Mitch, played water polo and was a swimmer at UCLA...her brother Patrick played soccer at UCLA...notes she has wanted to be a Torero since the seventh grade after taking a tour of the campus and watching a game.
