- Finished third place in the San Diego State Distance Meet at in the 300 Yard Individual Medley
- Placed second in both 1000 Freestyle at Chapman with a time of 11:08.80 and 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:28.04

- Parents are Diane and Bobby Garcia
- Father, Bobby played collegiate golf
- Member of her school's Dean's List, Honor Roll and National Honor Society
- Four-year CIF qualifier
- Competed in varsity all four years and was team captain for two years
- Holds the Southern California swimming 4x100 medley relay record
- Studying international business at USDÂ
