HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prepped at Torrey Pines High for coach Jim Harrah...was awarded the Union Tribune All-Athletic Award as a sophomore, junior, and senior...as a junior and senior, earned the Varsity Athletic Award recognizing outstanding athletic achievement and Student Scholar Award...played with Coast Volleyball Club that took fifth place in the Open Division of the Junior Olympics in 2010...helped club team win the Big South Qualifier in Atlanta in 2010...club team placed second in the LA Qualifier for the SCVA in 2010. PERSONAL: Born February 11, 1992 in La Jolla, Calif....daughter of Mark and Doren McClure...was also recruited by Saint Mary[apos]s, Georgia Tech, DePaul, Penn, Duke, and Brandeis...chose USD because she loves the school, the competitive volleyball program, and the location... her sister, Lauren, played volleyball for the Toreros from 2004-2008...notes that she loves filmmaking and fashion design...plans to major in Communications and minor in Marketing.
