USD Men's Basketball Home With UC San Diego

The USD men's basketball team returns to the Jenny Craig Pavilion this evening for a 7:05 p.m. contest with the UC San Diego Tritons. This is just the fourth home game for the Toreros where they currently own a 2-1 mark this season. Following tonight's contest the Toreros won't return for a home game until January 15th when they begin WCC play with the LMU Lions. San Diego is coming off a tough 91-81 loss at Northern Arizona this past Saturday with senior guard Brad Lechtenberg scoring a personal-best 22 points.

UCSD is currently 1-5 with their lone win an 82-78 overtime victory over Grand Canyon. They are coming off an 80-67 loss to Seattle Pacific. Junior center Jesse Boyd leads the team in scoring at 21.3 ppg. The Toreros lead the overall series, 16-1.

The Tio Leos Torero Talk show, hosted by Jack Murray, can be heard at www.usdtoreros.com beginning at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 6:40 pm.
