The USD men's tennis team won three of five 3rd round singles matches in the qualifying of the Laguna Niguel Futures Tournament. Tomorrow morning at 10am Pierrick Ysern, Mirza Koristovic and Robbie Blair will attempt to win their fourth match in a row and qualify for the main draw. Ysern had a big win by knocking off the #2 seed Tomas Jecminic(#700 atp) 6-1, 6-4. Robbie Blair and Mirza Koristovic also advanced. Robbie Blair df. Shane Laporte(USA) 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 and Mirza Koristovic df. Adam Loucks(USC) 6-2, 7-5. Nic Beuque and Jason Pongsrikul both lost their singles matches today. Daniel Sebescen df. Nic Beuque 6-2, 6-2 and Rodrigo Grilli df. Jason Pongsrikul 6-4, 6-3.
