The USD Toreros continue WCC play in a rare Saturday afternoon contest when they host the Pepperdine Waves in a 3:06 p.m. contest that will be televised by Fox Sports West (Mike Eaves, play-by-play; Krista Blunk, analyst). Both teams are coming off Thursday losses - the Toreros (0-1 WCC; 3-13) suffered a 76-68 setback to the LMU Lions while the Waves (1-2 WCC; 6-12) lost on the road at Santa Clara, 68-75. Brice Vounang led the Toreros in the losing effort with 25 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. He is the team's leading scorer at 15.9 ppg and rebounder at 6.7 rpg. Pepperdine is paced by forward Glen McGowan (18.5 ppg).
