San Diego senior Marta Menuez (Bodega, Calif.) was named to the All-West Conference First Team as announced by the league office Monday. Menuez is completing an outstanding four-year career at USD, establishing herself as one of the best post players in school history. During the 2003-04 regular season, Menuez averaged 14.7 points per game and 7.9 rebounds. She became just the 8th player in USD history to score 1,000 career points. She currently lists as the 5th all-time leading scorer in San Diego school history. Her rebounding totals reach the 500 mark, placing her among USD's all-time best. She was named the WCC Player of the Week (11/23).
