The USD Toreros opened up the San Diego College Tennis Classic with a 4-2 loss to 33rd-ranked Oklahoma State. The Toreros and Sooners played singles, and once the match was decided both teams agreed not to play doubles. USD received singles wins from senior Jason Pongsrikul at No. 2 and freshman Jeff Das at No. 6. The Toreros will host Purdue at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow; the 9:30 a.m. morning match will pit Utah against Oklahoma State.
