With just 3 home matches and the WCC Championships to go, the University of San Diego men's tennis team looks to finish strong and end up in the Top 25 in the nation. The Torero men currently sit at #30 in the nation, just three spots from their season high of No. 27. To date they have compiled a record of 10-5. All five of their losses are to Top 25 teams. Individually, the Toreros have sophomore Pierrick Ysern ranked at No. 49 in the nation in singles and the undefeated doubles team of Jason Pongsrikul and Nic Beuque ranked No. 47 in the nation.
Mirza Koristovic leads the team with an 11-4 dual match record. Two other consistent performers for USD this year have been Robbie Blair with a dual match record of 10-3 and freshman Jeff Das with a dual match record of 10-4. The doubles team of Korstovic and Blair are 11-4 on the season.
The team takes the court this Saturday, April 10th, at 12:30pm to take on the University of South Alabama. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE NATIONALLY RANKED USD MENS TENNIS TEAM!
