San Diego, Calif. - The Universit of San Diego women's tennis team dropped a tough battle against the LMU Lions by a score of 4-3. Alexandra Demidova, Samantha Mouly, and Helene Lindstrand each won their singles match to get USD's three points of the day. The Toreros No. 2 singles, Helene Lindstrand, defeated Robyn Baker with a score of 6-2, 6-0. The Toreros No. 3 singles, Samantha Mouly, defeated Tamara Tanner with a score of 6-1, 6-1. At No. 4 singles for USD, Alexandra Demidova defeated Serena Fermin, 6-1, 6-4. The Toreros next home match is February 22 at 1:00 PM.
