San Diego, Calif. - The University of San Diego's women's tennis team dropped a tough match against the Rice Owls by a score of 6-1. The Toreros earned the doubles point and their only point to make the score 1-0, and then were swept in singles. Helene Lindstrand and Samantha Mouly, No. 2 doubles for the Toreros, defeated Dominique Karas and Tiffany Lee with a score of 8-3. The Toreros No. 3 doubles, Alexandra Demidova and Justine Perl, defeated Emily Braid and Rebecca Lin with a score of 8-3.
