LAS VEGAS, NV - The USD men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision today to No. 32 Texas Tech in a match that was played in Las Vegas at UNLV. The Toreros will face the Rebels on Sunday. USD's two points came in singles as freshman Dean Jackson defeated Sinisa Markovic at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2 and junior Charl Wolmarans downed Ilya Babinciuc at No. 4 singles, 1-6, 6-4, 7-5. The Toreros fall to 1-3 on the season with all four matches coming against teams ranked ahead of them in the Fila Rankings.
