(Boise, ID) - The USD women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to 35th-ranked Saint Mary's College today in a match that was played at Boise State in Boise, Idaho. USD's lone point came at No. 3 singles where senior Monica Wiesener defeated Claire Soper, 1-6, 6-3, 10-7. Although the Gaels came away with the doubles point, USD did win at No. 2 doubles as Helene Lindstrand and Alexandra Demidova teamed up to beat Marah Calvo and Stef Ordoveza, 8-5. USD falls to 2-8 on the season. The good news is Samantha Mouly was back playing this weekend after missing the spring's first eight matches due to injury.
