(San Diego, CA) - The host SDSU Aztecs dealt the USD Toreros a 7-0 defeat today at the Aztec Tennis Center. USD falls to 5-13 on the season while the SDSU Scarlet and Black improve to 11-10. USD competed extremely hard against the Aztecs but came up short in two close doubles matches, and in three three-set singles losses. USD did earn a win in doubles play as Tammy Kevey and Justine Perl earned an 8-2 win over Esther Cadua and Kathryn Kitts at No. 3. USD now heads to the WCC Championships this weekend at Saint Mary's College with first round action beginning on Friday.
