SAN DIEGO, Calif. -
UPDATE: SATURDAY, 7:45 A.M. - The San Diego Classic Tournament is canceled for Saturday at the USD Softball Complex. The decision by the Tournament Director at the USD site came early this morning when the weather outlook for the day was not in favor of playing.
The schedule for Sunday at the USD Softball Complex has 3 games slated to be played. The first game is USD vs Howard game starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by the USD vs UC Davis game scheduled for 11:30 a.m. The day ends at USD with a 2:00 p.m. neutral game between Sacramento State and UC Davis.
UPDATE: FRIDAY, 7:00 P.M. - The San Diego Classic Tournament is currently suspended until tentatively noon on Saturday, February 19. The tournament director at the USD Softball Complex hopes to resume action at noon with USD facing off against Howard.
The current weather system blowing through the San Diego area has put a halt to the tournament at both University of San Diego and San Diego State. The Toreros hope to get their game against the Bison in on Saturday along with a few other games if the weather holdsa.
