2012 Women's Soccer All-Academic Team
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - University of San Diego senior defender
Caitlin Williams was named to the WCC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team.
Williams, who is an accounting major, finished last semester with an incredible 3.89 GPA.
To be considered for the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to the team.
Williams, an Anaheim, Calif., native has started in 13 of the Toreros 17 matches thus far, providing crucial support on the Toreros back line.
Sierra Ferreira, Mariah Hobbs, Taylor Housley, and Olivia Schultz were chosen as Honorable Mentions for the All-Academic Team.
Caitlin Williams will be playing in her last match as a Torero tonight when USD hosts the Gonzaga Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
