SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's tennis team wrapped up a 4-0 sweep of the visiting Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday afternoon after Friday's action was postponed due to rain. Laura Claus finished off the clinching match on Saturday morning by tallying the final points in her 6-0, 7-5 victory over Kelly Lamble.

The teams opted to start the match with singles play, so doubles never ended up being contested. The Toreros (9-8, 5-1 WCC) got singles wins from Stephanie Hoffpauir at No. 2, No. 117 Anna Depenau at No. 4, and Maja Sujica at No. 5. Matches at No. 1 and No. 6 were left unfinished once Claus posted the clinching win.

USD moves on to face San Francisco at home on Sunday, Apr. 15 at 10:30 am.
