SAN DIEGO - USD head football coach Ron Caragher, who enters his 6th season at the helm of the Torero program, and his coaching staff are pleased to announce their 2012 recruiting class. The 43 incoming recruits will join up with the rest of the Torero returners when the team reports for camp on Tuesday, August 7th. Eleven of the recruits are from San Diego County, while four of the newcomers are transfers from NCAA Division I programs.
The team's first practice for camp is slated for Wednesday, August 8th. USD's season opener is set for Saturday, September 1st, with a 4:00 p.m. road contest at Cal Poly Pomona. USD's home opener is September 8th against Western New Mexico (6 pm).
